Kathie Barbaro
brings over 30 years
of tax and
accounting
experience to
Anderson Accounting
Group. After
high school, she
went to work for 3
CPA's as their
receptionist,
secretary and
bookkeeper. In
1982, she graduated
from Old Dominion
University in
Norfolk, VA with a
B.S. degree in
Business
Administration.
Kathie has been a
CPA for 22 years and
began her CPA career
working for Ernst &
Young's Richmond,
Virginia office
participating in
audits throughout
Virginia, West
Virginia and North
Carolina. In
1990, she moved back
to Poulsbo,
Washington and
opened her own CPA
firm offering tax,
accounting, and
computer consulting
services.
After 12 years in
the same location ,
she merged her firm
with Gary Anderson
CPA to become
Anderson CPA.
Kathie was born in
Seattle, Washington
to a Navy military
family and is no
stranger to travel.
She has lived in 6
states and overseas
on the island of
Guam. She has
traveled extensively
throughout the
United States and
has visited Mexico,
Canada, Europe and
China. Outside
of tax season,
Kathie is available
on a part time basis
while she continues
her passion for
travel.
